ScottyP and Ozone
 
Scott Price has been working on recording his album 'Sanctuary' since early 2008. In July of 2008, I advertised my wireless Audio Technica unit for sale. Scott came by my studio to check out the unit. We soon started to talk about each other's interests in music, and Scott mentioned that he was planning to get a band together to play his music. I loved his compositions and he liked my guitar playing, and we decided to give this a shot.
 
After jamming together in Scott's jam room/ studio, we had worked out all the songs on the album. We tried out many drummers, and finally Scott asked Jay if he would like to be part of the band, and Jay was excited about the plans.
 
With a few more rehearsals, we decided that the open mic at Jet Bar and Grill - Mill Creek, would be our first performance. We rocked the place with three numbers from Scott's album - 'Get Along', 'Ozone' and 'Sanctuary'.
 
We have now lined up a few shows for the rest of the year.

Description:  After a bit of a break Scottyp and Ozone are back at it again. Still featuring George Varghese on guitar and recently adding Rich Brisbois to the line up. Rich comes from fronting a  long line of great Seattle bands including 4 Hour Ramona and The Buckets. We are excited to add him as another guitar player and singer. Come and see us at the Mars Bar ( www.cafevenus.com, 609 Eastlake Ave, Seattle) this Saturday Night, March 21, 2009. They also have good food!
