Little Sparrow
by: Mary J. Joseph
Dear sparrow, who lies so tiny and sweet,
In the nest with the softest hay beneath,
As stars glitter in the sky he sees.
Dost thou know who's made all these?
Who gave this warm and handsome coat,
A beak to feed with and sing a note,
Dainty wings to fly high with vim.
Dost thou know how to call to Him?
He is thy Creator and thy Caretaker,
Who made the earth, both past and future.
Who loves thee as a gentle guide,
In thy song and flight, with Him to abide.
