July 27th, 2008 :: The Swedish Summer 5km Run
After Manju mentioned that she was going to take part in the Swedish Summer Run for Cancer Research, I decided that it might be a great idea to give this a shot.
I practiced for about 2 weeks, and finally on Sunday the 27th, I successfully completed my first charity run.
It was an amazing experience. I was surprized that I was able to complete the 5 kilometers in abut 30minutes and was placed 35th in my division.
I guess the dynamics of the race, with hundreds of people running along with you certainly brings out one's best performance.
