A Weekend to Remember

Being part of the technical production team and serving as a videographer for the Sunidhi Chauhan concert in Seattle was truly an unforgettable experience. Watching a powerhouse like Sunidhi light up the stage with her incredible energy and talent was awe-inspiring.

A huge thank you to Rahul Walia and Rajdeep for bringing me on board with the Touchdown team. The concert was nothing short of spectacular—an evening filled with electric vibes and musical brilliance.

But the magic didn’t end there.

The following day, I had the rare opportunity to set up my mobile recording rig in Sunidhi’s hotel penthouse for a private vocal session tied to an upcoming film project. I brought along my trusted Neumann U87 mic for the session. When I arrived, she was still catching up on rest after her intense tour schedule. As she eased into the afternoon with soft ambient chant music playing and a quiet lunch, I quietly began setting up the gear.

What struck me most was witnessing the contrast—Sunidhi’s calm, introspective presence in the studio was a world apart from the electrifying stage persona we’d seen the night before. It was a powerful reminder of the many layers that make up a true artist.

I am ever grateful for these moments are the ones that I will always cherish.
